SUPPORT COMES FROM THE BRILLIANT ROD GOZZETT

Rod Gozzett is a Brighton born singer/songwriter whose work blends Radiohead-like introspection with Muse-esque stadium rock and is vocally comparable to Kelly Jones, Neil Young and Richard Ashcroft.

This is passionate and emotive music that portrays the human condition through a remarkably raw and honest voice.

Rod Gozzett has been under the radar for years entertaining crowds on the live acoustic scene in his home town but now is the time to take notice and get excited.

Now supported by a full band and a backlog of songs, Rod Gozzett’s life’s work has now been recorded and is ready for release.

Influences are Pink Floyd, Oasis, The Beatles, Muse, Radiohead, Nirvana, Neil Young, Nothing but Thieves, Stereophonics, The Who, Rufus Wainwright, Jack White.

Rod has played pretty much all the pubs and venues in Brighton and Hove as well as venues up and down the country as far as the North of England and the odd small festival and showcase gigs. Rod has played Brighton's largest gig venues; The Haunt and twice at Concorde 2, once for a charity event and the second supporting Rubylux, a successful Brighton based band. Rod impressed a group of press backstage at Heart in the Park at London’s Hyde Park with a cover of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi. He’s come close to winning a number of online voting musician competitions through the years with local radio appearances and newspaper mentions. Rod has also recorded backing vocals for local band Subliminals.
