A SPECTACULAR NIGHT WITH ELECTRONIC MUSIC PIONEERS THE ORB WITH SUPPORT FROM VIOLETA VICCI

English electronic music group The Orb were founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty. Known for their psychedelic sound, The Orb developed a cult following among clubbers. Their influential 1991 debut album The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld pioneered the UK's nascent ambient house movement, while its UK chart-topping follow-up U.F.Orb represented the group's commercial peak.

Now they're back on tour to celebrate the release of their latest studio album SETI, the latest collaboration between Alex Paterson and Andy Falconer of The Orb. The latest record takes listeners on an enchanting nighttime voyage through the cosmos. It's an "ambient unplugged" experience filled with acoustic instruments and nostalgic samples, bridging the realms of old-world charm and uncharted territories. The album presents a harmonious blend of glacial-paced melodies, Nyabinghi percussion, mandolin, and acoustic guitar, offering a unique fusion of elements. SETI, which stands for Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence, not only explores the universe but also provides a comfortable, chill-out space within its musical ambience. This record is a testament to the creative synergy between Paterson and Falconer, who effortlessly navigate uncharted musical territory, building on decades of trust and shared curiosity.

WITH SUPPORTING ARTIST VIOLETA VICCI

A multifaceted, contemporary violinist, vocalist and composer, Violeta Vicci feels comfortable genre-crossing from classical to ambient, multilayered electronics, her influences ranging from Bach to Brian Eno. Since starting the violin at the age of four and giving her concert debut at the age of fifteen, she fulfilled her long life dream to study at the Royal Academy of Music.

Violeta has recently supported the Orb on their 30th anniversary UK tour and collaborated with the likes of The Smile, Thom Yorke, Elbow, Sigur Ros, Steeleye Span and Bat For Lashes. She also arranges the strings for Fontaines DC and writes and performs with psychedelic rock band Ttrruuces.

During lockdown, Vicci started “Live Music in Nature” a series of live-streamed concerts performed in beautiful natural locations around the UK, combining strings, voice and effect pedals to create a soundtrack to nature. She has been nominated for a Royal Philharmonic Society Award and her most recent album ‘Cavaglia’ is an homage to a Swiss alpine valley and highlights the fragility of the environment and the beauty and the devastation created by climate change.

The Jam'd

The Jam’d are now the UK’s best known and most popular tribute to the live performance and sound of The Jam, and are totally committed to giving an unforgettable, authentic performance with all the energy, passion and style of the Woking 3.

Maze are a Britpop, Indie Band from South London with influences including Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene and The Stone Roses to name but a few. After having released their first couple of singles the band quickly gained a lot of attention and this in turn lead to them receiving a publishing deal with Sony music. From then on in the band has been gigging up and down the country playing and entertaining crowds everywhere they go and have released their first full album Chaos Interrupted. China Crisis were never your run-of-the-mill 80s pop band. Formed in Liverpool by singer Gary Daly and guitarist Eddie Lundon, they distilled their love of David Bowie and Steely Dan into an exquisitely melancholy post-punk sound that saw them win their just chart rewards.

Has there ever been a more wistful Top 10 hit than the charming Wishful Thinking? Their hero Walter Becker – of Steely Dan fame – was so impressed he even became a band member back in 1985, producing and playing on Top 10 album Flaunt the Imperfection, and returning for 1989’s hugely acclaimed Diary of a Hollow Horse. And, all the while, the hits kept rolling in… Christian, Black Man Ray and King in a Catholic Style all made their way into the UK Top 20.

Stacey Jackson is an award-winning singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, TV presenter and mother of four.

Her weekly music show “Stacey Jackson In The 80s” also premiered in June 2021 on Spotlight TV which airs on Sky as well as other satellite providers. Her novel “How A Gangsta Rapper Made Me A Better Mom” has seen huge success.

As fitness also plays a huge part in Stacey’s life, she launched her patented workout top called Staefit – created to tackle issues women may have while working out and through her online workout videos she encourages women to be the best possible versions of themselves.

Not to be missed! The Kast off Kinks include former members of the legendary band ‘The Kinks’. This great line-up features Mick Avory (Founding member of The Kinks and the original drummer on all the classic hits from 1964-84), Mark Haley (keyboards/vocals, Kinks 1989-93, also played with The Rubettes), Mike Steed (bass/vocals, playing history with Love Affair, Chip Hawkes, Marmalade, The Rubettes & Mike Pender).

These high-class professionals are then fronted by the equally talented and charismatic Dave Clarke (guitar/main vocals). Dave made three albums with the Noel Redding band, two solo albums as Dave Carlsen and the Dream Machine, one with Jimmy McCulloch, and several others including Mick Avory, Dave Rowberry, Tim Rose and Keith Moon. Dave has been a member of the Kast Off Kinks since it was formed almost thirty years ago.

What better way to kick off a weekend in Worthing than partying at The Factory Live to some sweet soul music with South Coast Soul Revue?

This Brighton-based 8-piece plays a dynamic mix of classic and contemporary soul music with a twist of funk. If you love the music of artists like Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder, then this is the gig for you. 

Two irrepressible and highly talented lead vocalists, funky horns and a pulsating rhythm section make for a truly authentic soul revue experience.

Dancing is optional – but highly recommended!

Martin McAloon was the bass player and a founding member of Prefab Sprout.

Martin will be performing a 2-hour show featuring a large selection of Prefab Sprout songs from their 40 years in the music industry, stripped back to the bare necessities, the raw elements of how they were first performed when originally written by his brother Paddy - before the bells, whistles and budget were added.

Expect all the hits; Cars and Girls, When Love Breaks Down & The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and much, much more! Following a fall during the pandemic that broke one wrist and a car accident that damaged the other arm, Martin used the guitar and the songs as a form of rehabilitation.

Martin has been involved in the music industry since he was a teenager releasing the early Sprout records on his own label Candle Records, he's lectured on music and art at colleges and universities and was instrumental in setting up the UKs leading music development agency, Generator Northeast.

He is also a visual artist who exhibits under the pseudonym Feliks Culpa whose work is in collections worldwide and has exhibited at the Royal Academy and ICA London, Liverpool Museum of Popular Music, and Manchester Contemporary.

The Gangsters, who took their name from The Specials track, keep the tradition of black and white alive with what can only be described as the ultimate Ska tribute band. Dressed from head to toe in their very own 'Gangsters' gear, the band look as good as they sound.

The Gangsters ethos is to play the songs in the style of the original band. So, as you would expect The Gangsters play the very best from Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners, The Beat plus a whole host of Ska and 2 Tone classics. So, from the very first beat the floor is filled!

The Blunter Brothers started playing live in 1989 and has become established as one of the premiere ‘Revue’ acts in the country. The band covers all the hits from artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Ray Charles, Curtis Mayfield, EW&F, The Average White Band and many more. 

Alongside headlining with The Blunter Brothers ‘Funk, Soul and Motown Revue’ the band has supported many major acts including Edwin Starr, Sister Sledge, Ruby Turner, Rufus Thomas, Geno Washington as well as collaborating with members of George Clinton’s Parliament/Funkadelic and gigging with James Brown’s MD and Tenor Sax man Mr Pee Wee Ellis.

The Greatest Hits Tour

Marc Bolan, with his band T.Rex, was one of the most flamboyant and charismatic stars of the original glam rock era.

With Bolan's special ingredient of Rock-a-Boogie songs, the band had a string of huge hits throughout the 1970s including'Love to Boogie', 'Telegram Sam', 'Jeepster' and '20th Century Boy'.

T.Rextasy have now been performing around the world for over 20 years, a career that ironically out lives Marc’s very own T.Rex. The band is now accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band dedicated to Marc Bolan and T.Rex and the only band endorsed and approved byMarc Bolan’s family estate, original ex-members of T.Rex and Bolan’s catalogue management. The band has been described by many as "beyond the boundaries of tribute".

A rock 'n' roll concert for all ages - if you'd like to know exactly what a Marc Bolan concert was like in the 1970s, this show is for you!

Following their packed debut performance last Summer, and special christmas show in December, The Croupiers are back at the Factory with a night crammed full of Northern, Rare and Classic Soul Music for dancing like nobody's watching, performed live by a powerhouse 10 piece band, with plenty of new additions to the repertoire and much loved favourites of the genre!

After a scorcher of an inaugural year in 2023, which saw the group pack venues across the south coast and beyond, 2024 promises big things as the band continue on their mission to spread the gospel of all things Northern Soul directly to you. Brave Rival are the South East’s rip-roaring rock and blues Machine

Hailing from Portsmouth, the six time UK Blues Award Nominated band features the powerful and beautiful twin vocals of Chloe Josephine and Lindsey Bonnick. On lead guitar, providing dramatic guitar solos and crunching rock riffs is Ed “The Shred” Clarke, and holding it all together is the rhythmic backbone, the self-proclaimed engine room of Billy Dedman (bass) and Donna Peters (drums).

For almost four decades, XTC fans could only dream of witnessing the sensational XTC classic songbook played live. That dream has now become a reality. XTC’s legendary drummer, Terry Chambers, is back on the road with his band EXTC (named and approved by XTC frontman, Andy Partridge).

Emerging out of the post-punk and new-wave explosion of the late 70s. XTC experienced global success, touring with the likes of The Police and Talking Heads. Sadly, their legions of loyal fans would be left in limbo, when in 1982 XTC stopped touring, becoming a studio-based entity.

A Rock’n’Roll Circus is coming to town... everything seems to be ready... is everyone ready?

A tribute to The Rolling Stones focusing on the early part of their career from 1964 - 1969 including ‘Jumping Jack Flash’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Not Fade Away’ and ‘Satisfaction’.

They have been described by The Times as ‘better than the real thing’ and have been revered by both Stones fans for their authenticity and the real Stones who booked them for the band’s birthday.

With a Rollin Stoned show, the costumes are shamelessly camp, gaudy and fab, the instruments genuinely vintage and the wit irreverent. However while the tongue is never far from the cheek we make sure it is never to the detriment of the music.

A typical two hour show includes not only all the classic crowd pleasing hits, but is spiced with enough eclectic selections from the deeper recesses of Stones Album archives to satisfy the most demanding of “Buffs”, all performed with the same vibrantly authentic attack and raw energy that characterised the original Stones shows in their prime.

For the last twenty years, Arrested Development has performed sold-out concerts in literally every part of the world. In September, 2019, the band was given an award at the Black Music Honors Awards. This award acknowledges Artists who have made a significant contribution to African American Music. The band continue to release new music and find new success in different corners of the globe. Their shows are a celebration of life. Experiencing an Arrested Development concert is an uplifting and spiritual event wrapped into one big party.

It’s been more than twenty years since a new group called Arrested Development slammed the gangsta dominated world of hip hop with defiant lyrics of hope. Apparently the world was ready for the change as AD became the first ever hip-hop artist to receive the “best new artist” Grammy, (a distinction it still maintains today in that category). In addition, the group also received a Grammy award for “best rap single” for their anthemic prayer-like hit song, Tennessee. The song has gone on to be named as one of the 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in the top 100 Greatest Songs of the 90’s by VH1.

Money came in but not for precious stones and big cars. Instead, these pioneers of the conscious rap game took one big step for mankind by giving back and becoming the first African American artists to donate money to Nelson Mandela and the ANC. They used their voices and their status to the benefit of many underprivileged brothers and sisters around the world.

With the success of the single Mr Wendal, Arrested Development brought the issue of homelessness to the forefront. The group donated half of the royalty earnings to the National Coalition of the Homeless. The movie, X, went on to become one of Spike Lee’s most highly acclaimed works, and the Arrested Development song, Revolution, would forever be associated with one of the most important movies in black culture.

‘Steeltown’ was the second studio album by Big Country, recorded at ABBA’s Polar Studios in Stockholm with production from Steve Lillywhite. Released in October, 1984 Bruce Watson remembers the time very well, amid the nationwide strife back in the UK, fully in the grip of the Miners Strike: “We started work on Steeltown back in June 1984 at Abba’s studio. My Dad was a miner, so what we did was knuckle down to hard work for six weeks”.

Regarded by many as a classic, the multi-million selling ‘Steeltown’ went straight to the #1 slot in the UK album charts. Big Country will be performing songs from the album as well as the classic hits and live favourites including: ’Fields of Fire’, ‘In A Big Country’, ‘Chance’, ‘Wonderland’, ‘Look Away’ and many more.

Formed in 1981 by guitar playing founder members, Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, both native of the band’s hometown Dunfermline in Scotland, the duo were Initially driven by a shared vision of widescreen guitar melody, harmony and lyric. The classic Big Country sound was further enhanced later that summer by the arrival of drummer Mark Brzezickiand and bass player Tony Butler.

When you hear the name, The Three Degrees, you immediately think of their most famous song, When Will I See You Again, a major hit record throughout the world, topping the chart in the U.S.A. The UK, Japan and most European countries, earning the trio every conceivable accolade at the time — not to mention enough Gold records to make Fort Knox a little envious!

More than five decades on, the threesome has retained their precise vocal qualities, and, in between, they have amassed an impressive list of hit records.

In 1972, they aligned their recording fate with Gamble and Huff’s Philadelphia International label and hit the charts in 1972 with Dirty Ol’ Man. Soon after came The Sound of Philadelphia, which featured the ladies with MFSB. The following year produced their biggest hit When Will I See You Again.

“The whole Philadelphia Sound was the brainchild of Kenny (Gamble) and Leon (Huff),” Valerie explains. “They wrote and produced most of the hits for Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, The O’Jays, Billy Paul and The Jacksons among many others.”

During their 3 years with Philadelphia International, they enjoyed a good measure of success, the hits kept coming with “Year Of Decision”, “Take Good Care Of Yourself” & “Toast of Love”

It was during this era that the threesome made their biggest forward strides. A great deal of attention has been given to the fact that Prince Charles, now King Charles III publicly acclaimed The Three Degrees as his favourite group… Charlie’s Angels, as they were tagged! “It was a great feeling…a feeling of awe” is how Valerie remembers this accolade.

In 1978 they teamed up with Giorgio Moroder (he of Donna Summer fame) and a new string of hits followed. “Giving Up, Giving In”, “My Simple Heart”, “The Runner” and the lush ballad, “Woman In Love”

The Three Degrees can still make the claim as being the longest-running female vocal group in history and they show no signs of slowing down!

After spending a few months of recording 4 or 5 Foo Fighters songs on his own, he finally decided to try and put together the best Foo Fighters tribute he could. Calling on long term friends Liam Slattery and Russ Millard the journey began, quickly adding drummer Kris Perrin and 3rd guitarist Paul Beddow the line up rehearsed for a few months before deciding to add the final layer of Ben Selleck on keys who finally completed the full live FOO FIGHTERS LINE UP.

JOHNNY HATES JAZZ “THE BAND THAT NEVER TOURED”

Johnny Hates Jazz, comprising Clark Datchler (songwriting, vocals, keyboards) and Mike Nocito (production, engineering, guitars), achieved prominence in the late 1980s with a string of hits, notably "Shattered Dreams.”

Released in March 1987, the song reached top 5 in the UK, mainland Europe, Asia, and secured the second position in Japan. This was followed by global successes like the anti-war anthem "I Don’t Want To Be A Hero,", “Turn Back The Clock" (featuring Kim Wilde), “Heart Of Gold", and "Don’t Say It’s Love."

In 1988, “Shattered Dreams" reached number 2 on the US Billboard chart and topped the US Adult Contemporary chart. That same year, the album "Turn Back The Clock" entered the UK charts at number 1, selling over four million copies and achieving triple-platinum status.

After parting ways at their peak, Johnny Hates Jazz reunited in 2010 and released the album "Magnetized" in 2013, the title track becoming an instant radio hit in the UK. In 2018, the band marked the 30th Anniversary of “Turn Back The Clock" with a special edition featuring new acoustic versions of every song. Their 2020 release,
"Wide Awake," drawn on inspiration from their musical roots in the 1970s.

In addition, Clark has also co-written new material for Mike and The Mechanics with Genesis legend Mike Rutherford.

Playing all the best of The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees respectively.

The Cureheads were formed in 1990. The band played its first show in Stockholmin July 1990 at Frietzfronten in St. Eriksgatan 89, an underground bar owned by a Swedish political party, and played its first large headline show at the WGTin 1995. Then known as Fat Bob & The Cureheads.

The band has toured in the UK, the USA, continental Europe, and South America, playing festivals, including opening for Echo and The Bunnymen and The Pretendersat Guilfest. The band state that they strive to re-create the experience of seeing a mid to late 1980s concert by The Cure, including not only the sound, but also the wardrobe, attitude, stage, light show and various video and computer images.

The Cureheads name is taken from the Irish slang term for anyone with that "1980's mop haired 'Gothic' look". They were originally known as "Fat Bob & The Cureheads" until 2000.

Since 1990, The Cureheads has played venues including The Vic Theaterin Chicago, Camden Palacein London, The Temple Bar Music Centre in Dublin, CBGBin New York, and Razzmatazzin Barcelona.

The Cureheads recently played to 10,000 people ın Chileat the Teatro Caupolicán in Santiago (the old national basketball stadium of Chile). The show was recorded for national television and reported on the news, as The Cure has never played in Chile despite having a huge fanbase there.

The Sound & Vision of Bowie is brought to life at The Factory Live

Aladdinsane, widely acclaimed as the best Bowie tribute in the UK returns to Worthing.

The band have played theatres, festivals and venues throughout the UK for the past 15 years, with Paul Henderson performing as David Bowie, with audiences commenting how eerily close his voice, moves and mannerisms are to that as Bowie.

Being a lifelong fan of Bowie, Paul got to see him on tour numerous occasions and met him in 1997 during his Earthling tour. He first caught national attention when he appeared on Stars In Their Eyes in 1993, the first series hosted by Mathew Kelly, where he performed Space Oddity, dressed as Bowie’s legendary Ziggy Stardust. From there he performed at conventions around the country.

After 1995 Paul embarked on playing his own material and spent the late 90’s recording his own songs. Around 2002 a friend asked Paul “why don’t you put a Bowie tribute together”. Paul replied saying “I would enjoy it too much and everything else I am planning will end up on the back burner”, and so it did as the start of Aladdinsane was in the midst.

Aladdinsane was the classic album that David released in 1973, which was the first album Bowie album Paul got as a child from his parents.

Steve Beeston (keyboards), Carl Stones (guitar), Franco Caprio (bass), Rick Cook (drums) and Paul as Bowie with 12 string acoustic, make up the sound of Aladdinsane today.

With so many songs to choose from you can hear hits like – Space Oddity, Changes, Ashes to Ashes, Heroes, Lets Dance, Drive In Saturday, Jean Genie, Life On Mars, Fame, Starman and Diamond Dogs to list a few, including some classic album tracks from Bowie’s vast repertoire.

Paul changes outfits during each show which can stem from any of Bowie’s tours from 1976 to 2003.

Connor Selby is one of the brightest talents on the UK blues scene; incredibly he was voted "Young Artist of the Year" at the UK Blues Awards for three consecutive years. He has an impressive venue checklist, including Wembley Stadium, where he opened for The Who in July 2019 and has since gone on to play Hyde Park, London, on a bill with Pearl Jam, Stereophonics and Johnny Marr in the summer of 2022.

Raised in an Essex village, he has trodden a path less travelled. From early years in Connecticut, USA, as a young child to Dubai, UAE, aged ten to fourteen, and Essex either side, with those young eyes soaked up the travels and the changes passing him by.

One thing that kept with him was his burgeoning love of American roots music. "I got interested in not just the music itself but the history and everything around it," he says. "I love the directness, the simplicity and earthiness of it," he adds. "I love really how down-to-earth it is both lyrically and musically. I think with the blues, it's fundamentally about very basic human emotions. Things like sorrow and pride and exploring the way we deal with everyday situations and problems."

As a teenager, he devoured the music of Eric Clapton and Ray Charles - "Ray completely reshaped me as a person and the way I thought about music." But he also draws influence from old Delta records to soul artists like Sam Cooke, Bill Withers and the Stax sound to Jazz singers such as Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra as well as singer-songwriters; Van Morrison, Townes van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake and contemporary artists like Ray LaMontagne, Norah Jones and Foy Vance.

Geno originates from Evansville in Indiana, USA and first came to England in the 1960's as part of the US Air Force. His love of Blues and Soul music soon found him jamming with local bands in and around Ipswich and eventually led him to London where he caused a sensation singing with top R&B acts Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames and Zoot Money's Big Roll Band at the legendary Flamingo Club in Soho. The rest, as they say, is history.

Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band very quickly became established as the most exciting live band in Britain, regularly topping the bill over World famous artistes, as nobody in their right mind wanted to go on stage after a Geno show!

His live shows were immortalised in two of the biggest selling albums of the 60’s - "Hand Clappin' Foot Stompin' Funky Butt Live" and "Hipsters Flipsters and Finger Poppin' Daddies". Chords UK

In 1978 The Chords emerged as one of a handful of successful Mod revival bands in the UK, they had several hits before breaking up in 1981.

In 2013 original The Chords guitarist / songwriter Chris Pope formed Chords UK along with drummer Kenny Cooper , guitarist Sandy Mitchie and bassist Mic Stoner they set out to perform The Chords classic tunes whilst writing and recording new material . Their first

release 2015’s ‘Get Famous’ Ep’ went straight into the official TOP 40 singles chart. Followed closely by their debut album ‘Take on Life (2016). 2018 saw them release the critically acclaimed ‘Nowhere Land’ and last years ‘Big City Dreams’ LP saw them take it on tour in the USA, Europe, and the UK.

Chris Pope has been described by Paul Weller as “ the best songwriter of his generation” whilst Chords UK remain one of the best Mod revival bands in the UK .

Eddie and the Hot Rods

Eddie and the Hot Rods are one of the most highly influential and recognisable names from the English Rock scene, enjoying a career that has now spanned four decades they continue to entertain audiences across the globe. In 1977 the band released a track called ‘Do Anything You Wanna Do’ which seemed to chime with the prevailing wind at the time and so spent the whole Summer in the charts reaching Number 9 before Island Records withdrew the single after sales of 475,000 copies.

The energy and attitude that made Eddie & The Hot Rods one of the most exciting bands of the era, crossing genres of R’n’B, Rock and Blues has never changed.

In 2023 the band released their 8th studio album titled ‘Guardians Of The Legacy’ it has already spawned a number one hit in the Legacy music chart.

Bruce Juice return to WORTHING for a high energy 3-hour blast of the Boss' greatest songs, combined with his rare, live arrangements from the 1970s

This is the only Springsteen tribute band that combines both popular favourites with the essence of Springsteen’s arrangements in legendary live gigs and an unforgettable show.

The first half reproduces the original arrangements from the 1970s Wild, Innocent and a slow, bluesy ‘E Street Shuffle’ as well as the iconic anthems from the ‘Born to Run’ tour.

The second half moves into the 1980s and captures the crisp, rasping sound of the ‘Professor’s’ piano, Federici’s organ and Clarence’s sax from ‘The River’ tour, as well as a few stadium foot-stompers from the ‘Born in the USA’ tour.

There are a couple of surprise gems thrown in, with some great Bruce songs that don’t normally feature in tributes, but are much loved by Bruce fans.

The Beat live: Original British Ska at it’s very finest

The band crossed over fluidly between soul, reggae, pop and punk, and from these disparate pieces they created an infectious dance rhythm. Along with their contemporaries The Specials, The Selecter, and Madness, The Beat became an overnight sensation and one of the most popular and influential bands of the British SKA movement.

By Christmas of 1979, The Beat were riding high in the UK charts with their first single, a smoking remake of the classic Smokey Robinson tune Tears of a Clown.

Over the course of the next five years The Beat toured relentlessly and released three studio albums: “I Just Can’t Stop It”, “Wh’appen”, both reaching number 3 in The UK album charts and “Special Beat Service”. The band toured the world, touring with such artists as David Bowie, The Police, REM, The Clash, The Talking Heads, The Pretenders, and The Specials, to name but a few.

The Beat kept scoring hits with tunes that have now become so popular that it’s hard to remember a time when they didn’t exist, such as Mirror in the Bathroom, Hands Off… She’s Mine, Too Nice To Talk To, Save it for Later, I Confess, Stand Down Margaret, and their serene cover of Andy William’s Can’t Get Used To Losing You.

Félix Rabin's musical universe stems from a tension between the flamboyant stage presence of the guitar hero and the melancholy solitude of the songwriter.

This polarity is particularly well illustrated by the fragility of a voice seeking to make its way through the density of the instrumental textures surrounding it, which suddenly gives way under the force of the storm, leaving the way clear to the creative instinct of the soloist.

​Marked by the influence of the likes of Gary Clark Jr. or John Mayer, Félix Rabin is deeply rooted in pop-rock tinted-blues, getting funky at times, in a long-standing tradition having its musical origins in the excesses of the musical icons of the sixties and seventies, but now with the airs of a “good boy”, an introvert loner, with an incandescent frenzy in his soul.

After winning the prize of the “best act” at Giants of Rock Festival early 2020, in America he made his first real record with the help of Ross Hogarth, a Californian producer who has worked with the likes of Van Halen, Ziggy Marley and REM.

Having been accepted by the American scene, Félix then looked for the blessing of the British. In the country of Pink Floyd and Michael Kiwanuka, he first played in a few small clubs, then step by step progressed to bigger stages. The band Wishbone Ash invited Félix to join them on their UK tour.

He has recently released his first album "Pogboy", an album of six titles built around his titanic guitar playing, in which he takes his inspiration from the masters, while at the same time affirming his independence from them.

THE ULTIMATE ERASURE TRIBUTE

In 1995 Mark appeared on ITV’s “Stars In Their Eyes” (and again for the 1995 Christmas Special) as Erasure’s Andy Bell, to universal acclaim. 

He met Pete in 1996 and the pair began writing original material together and at the same time launched Erasured, with which they toured the circuit for over ten years. The magic eventually waned, but the pair stayed the closest of friends.

Then in 2018 Mark and Pete were invited to recreate the recent arena gigs Robbie Williams had done with Erasure. They agreed to do the gig as a ‘one off’ for nostalgia’s sake. The show was a huge success and they again found their passion for Erasure music, and started touring again, with new technology and new outfits!
