JOE KENT-WALTERS

Joe Kent-Walters is a multi-award winning comedian and actor from Huddersfield. He has been delighting audiences up and down the country with his idiosyncratic style of outrageous character comedy, most notably with his comic creation Frankie Monroe.

His “mesmerising and unpredictable presence” (Chortle) performing as Frankie saw him win the 2023 BBC New Comedy Award after a “barn storming” (Ibid) set at Glasgow’s Kings Theatre Joe is now in development with the BBC and is one of Jiksaw’s 2024 ‘Faces of Comedy.’

Joe’s debut solo show (as yet untitled) has already played to sell out crowds in London, Leeds, Manchester and Hull where the crowd “deservedly gave the act a standing ovation” (RichComicLife Blog).

Alexander Bennett

Comedian, Cartoonist and Filmmaker Alexander Bennett’s comedy has been variously described as dark, silly, filthy and thoughtful. Still in his twenties, he has an awful lot under his belt, including numerous Edinburgh Fringe runs, several filmed stand up specials and creating the cult hit comedy game show Hell To Play.

Alexander Bennett regularly performs with This Is Your Trial and Comedy Auction, as well as the acclaimed Alternative Comedy Memorial Society. His new material night This Is Not A Cult has run at the Camden Comedy Club for many years, is recommended by Time Out and has featured all sorts of TV names.

Comedian, author and actor Laura Lexx is vivacious, impassioned, intelligent and one of the best headliners on the comedy scene. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Laura’s comfy demeanour, warmth and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue and brutal audience take downs, which just can’t stop going viral. JOSH WELLER

Josh Weller is a failed musician turned comedian, viral content maker, comic book author and podcast host. Weller’s high energy brand of cleverly self-deprecating stand-up developed him a loyal fanbase for his viral musical videos and online content, with views in the millions which includes mockumentaries, sketches, professional trolling, animated stand-up comedy shorts, character work, and more.

He has written for Spitting Image and Alex Edelman’s BBC Radio 4 show Peer Group. He also wrote the jokes on McFly’s guitar plectrums on their 2022 arena tour. His dark comedy graphic novel ‘Die Already’ was published by CollegeHumor in 2019. In 2020, he was included in Twitter’s Valentine’s and Valentine’s Campaign, featured globally on billboards.

Prior to comedy Weller was signed with Universal Records, he toured the world as both a solo artist and lead singer of popular punk act The Kenneths. He has performed on the Vans Warped Tour, The Offspring, The Descendents, Anti-Flag and Juliette Lewis, has drummed for Ray Davies, released a single with Paloma Faith and has toured with Mumford & Sons, The Maccabees, and more!

ROBYN PERKINS

Robyn Perkins is a multi-award-winning, high energy comedian. She tackles some of life’s biggest and most emotionally charged topics on stage, and brings them right back to the audience with personal, relatable and hilarious real-life anecdotes. DANE BAPTISTE

Dane Baptiste has had a decade of dominance as a trailblazer, innovator and incendiary voice in the comedy community. The last 10 years of Dane’s career have come with a number of personal and industry milestones.

In 2014, Dane was nominated for Best Newcomer at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it turns out he was the first Black British comic to ever be nominated. This lead to Dane creating, writing and starring in ‘SunnyD’ on BBC Three, the first sitcom written by a black British writer with a Black British cast to appear on the BBC in over 20 years. The show was purchased by Lionsgate, with the intention of remaking an American version of the show under the auspices of ‘Scary Movie’ creator Keenan Ivory Wayans.

Dane went on to amass a number of TV and Radio credits, including appearing on and hosting Live At The Apollo in 2015 and 2017 respectively, whilst also appearing on a wide variety of recognised comedy TV shows, including 8 out 10 Cats, Countdown, Mock the Week and Comic Relief to name a few.

Dane’s Live work has gone from strength to strength since his debut show ‘Citizen Dane’; with successive live shows ‘Reasonable Doubts’ and ‘Gold Oil and Drugs’ not only being sell out international tour shows as far afield as Australia and the UAE, but also being adapted for shows such as ‘Live At The BBC’ on Netflix and ‘Live At Soho Theatre’ on Amazon Prime.

A powerhouse live act, Sara has taken 3 critically acclaimed stand-up hours, For Worse (2018), Enemies Closer (2019), and Hard Feelings (2022) to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and had multiple runs in London’s Soho Theatre. Her shows have received rave reviews from publications including The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Evening Standard and The Scotsman, and she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

Sara’s further television credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats (C4), Hypothetical (Dave), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC), Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled (DAVE), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Hello, America (Quibi). On radio, her credits include appearances on The News Quiz, The Now Show, and Woman’s Hour on Radio 4. Andrew Mensah is a stand-up comedian, presenter and actor from London

Having only begun his comedy career in 2018, Andrew has quickly gained plaudits and was recently crowned winner of The Cavendish Arms Summer Competition 2019.

His relatable style and ability to speak on his life experience in an unapologetic manner has established him as one of the most exciting emerging comedians on the circuit today. Mensah is also regular on London’s up-and-coming comedy circuit, regularly playing venues such as the Top Secret Comedy Club. 

Alongside his fledgling stand-up career, Andrew is also the host of BT Sport’s hit show ‘What I Wore’ where he interviews footballer’s based on their lives and careers. Andrew was originally hired at BT Sport as an apprentice and worked his way up to the digital team where he was instrumental in creating and pitching the format of ‘What I Wore’. Having impressed so much in the development process, he was given the opportunity to present the pilot, an opportunity with which he has grabbed and has not looked back from. Flo & Joan are the multi-award winning British musical comedy duo, and sisters, Nicola and Rosie Dempsey. The piano/percussion pair have headlined and played to sold-out audiences across the UK, North America and Australia, and their hour-long special is now streaming in over 200 countries on Amazon Prime. In 2019 they debuted at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival.

Luke Kempner is one of the UK’s hottest new impressionist for the millennial comedy generation with his contemporary take on pop culture mimicry.

Combining razor sharp stand-up with his incisively accurate imitations, Luke is familiar to television audiences with his regular appearances in the BAFTA winning Murder in Successville (BBC3) and as the breakout star of The Imitation Game on ITV1, which led to an appearance on The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1). 

He has made a big impact with his slots on Love Island Aftersun (ITV2) and his other credits also include Celebability (ITV2), Hey Tracey (ITV2) and Pointless Celebrities (BBC1). Luke began his career in musical theatre, starring in the West End with Les Miserables, Avenue Q and South Pacific. His last show at the Edinburgh Fringe was for the sold out run of House Of Faces, which then toured nationwide throughout 2019.

Flo & Joan are the multi-award winning British musical comedy duo, and sisters, Nicola and Rosie Dempsey.The piano/percussion pair have headlined and played to sold-out audiences across the UK, North America and Australia, and their hour-long special is now streaming in over 200 countries on Amazon Prime. In 2019 they debuted at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival.




A hugely acclaimed live act, their fourth Edinburgh show, Before the Screaming Starts, completely sold-out its run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, added extra shows to keep up with demand, and is now touring nationally ahead of a run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Their previous shows are Victory Flaps, The Kindness of Stranglers and Alive on Stage. The pair’s accolades include Top 10 Show of the Edinburgh Fringe at the Amused Moose Comedy Awards, Chortle’s Best Music and Variety Act, Leicester Comedy Festival’s Best Musical Act, Montreal Sketchfest Best of the Fest Selection and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival’s Now Magazine Audience Choice Award and Best of the Fest Selection.


The pair have had high-profile television appearances on Live at the Apollo (BBC2) and The Royal Variety Performance 2019 (ITV) and their songs regularly go viral online, most notably with their ‘2016 Song’ which has to date received 50 million views across social media. They have written and performed songs for shows including Horrible Histories (CBBC), Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and Fresh From the Fringe and This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC)

Jayde Adams

Jayde Adams is co-host of BAFTA nominated series Snackmasters, as well as well as Channel 4’s TV Choice award nominated show, Crazy Delicious, with guest judges Heston Blumenthal, Carla Hall and Niklas Ekstedt. She has featured on Strictly It Takes Two (BBC Two) and has toured nationally with the celebrated 5 star Edinburgh show ‘The Ballad of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face’. Building on the momentum of the hit Edinburgh show, Jayde recorded her first special for Amazon Prime which was released worldwide in January 2020. Chloe Petts

Chloe Petts’ “inexhaustibly funny mind” (Diva Magazine) and “compelling presence” (Steve Bennett, Chortle) has established her as one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit. Chloe is an alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, has been shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, was a finalist in the most recent Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards and came runner-up in the Funny Women Awards 2017. She has appeared on Channel 4’s Random Acts and BBC 3 Quickies. She is a co-founder of The Lol Word, a queer comedy collective that hosts sell-out monthly London nights, boasting the finest female and non-binary queer acts on the circuit. Their most recent Edinburgh run was a sell-out. Diva Magazine has described it as “a space that is demographically queer, inclusive, and safe, and on top of all of that –the comedic talent is smart, insightful, hilarious.
